Join me for a restful week in Kefalonia, a lush green island off the west coast of mainland Greece, famous for its turquoise waters and clean sandy beaches. Your retreat venue is set within olive groves with magnificient views, and is a real haven - a place to press 'pause', to step back, rest and recharge. It promises to be a very special week together.

In May we can expect warm days, ideal for a morning stroll to one of two local beaches and a dip in the trademark crystal clear shallow waters if so inclined.

Your yoga practice will be held in the purpose built 120m2 yoga shala and you'll enjoy ten yoga classes, each morning and late afternoon. You'll also have one free day to do as you wish, explore the island, take a boat trip, visit the town and take dinner at a local taverna.

The accommodation offers a range of options to suit everyone. There are two villas with multiple rooms, two beach houses with multiple rooms and one studio room, offering plenty of choice if you want your own room or a shared option.

Aside from this, the centre caters for all your needs, the grounds are spacious so you can enjoy the pool, snooze on a lounger, read a book in a quiet nook, or just relax!

Yoga

The yoga space is set within an olive grove so your practice will be truly immersed in nature.

During the week, you'll have 10 yoga classes including daily asanas, restorative and pranayama practice.

The 120m2 yoga space is situated to enjoy soft sunlight in the afternoon and in early evening the sides can be closed to retain warmth if needed.

There are yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, belts and blankets, and some wall support for inversions. If you want to bring your own yoga travel mat to out on top of the centre's mats you can, but its not required. However, do bring a long yoga belt if you have space, as this can be handy.

Accommodation

There are a variety of accommodation options which blend with the natural surroundings and landscape. You can choose from one of the following options and be mindful these are the '2027' prices for a 7 night stay with meals and yoga included:

The outdoor facilities at both villas are available to all. If you have a room preference, please state this clearly. I will confirm your room with your booking.

Food

There are 7 buffet brunches and 6 evening buffet dinners provided. The chef on site provides freshly home-cooked food using mostly organic and local produce. Greek and Mediterranean in style, the buffet style food each meal will also include modern twists on traditional recipes to create fresh and exciting flavours.

Allergens and dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegan, etc need to be requested at the time of booking. If requested, I will also confirm the centre can accommodate you.

Please be aware that whilst the centre take care to minimise the risk, they cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. If you have a severe allergy you are advised to bring additional snacks to supplement meals as needed.

To secure your place - deposit requirements

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required on booking to secure your place. The remaining balance will then be due in full by 1 November 2026.

If you wish to pay in monthly instalments, please let me know and this will can be worked with the full balance deadline in mind.

Arrival is 3pm Saturday 1 May 2027 and departure by 10am Saturday 8 May 2027. If you need help to source flights, then please let me know.

Travel

I suggest you have a look at flights from your local or nearest London airport.

I will be travelling to Kefalonia from Gatwick, London and am happy to share my flight times with you, once known. When last checked there were flights with Easyjet from Gatwick.

On arrival at Argostoli airport in Kefalonia, our retreat centre 'Vericoco' is just 15-20 minutes by taxi. A taxi one way is approx. 45 euros, so if you share a taxi with other attendees the cost per person will be much less. I can help co-ordinate your taxi with others, as needed.

Cancellation Policy

As a small business, my ethos is to keep the retreats I offer as reasonably priced as possible, so unfortunately, I need to be strict on this point. The deposit required on booking is non-refundable. The final balance is required by the date on your booking confirmation email and once paid is non-refundable.

Please also make sure you have travel insurance that covers both the cost of this trip and your travel arrangements if you cannot make it. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, for example injury/illness (including COVID or COVID isolation requirements), or personal emergencies.

I also cannot issue partial refunds if you decide to arrive late or leave early. Your travel insurance should also cover medical expenses in the event that you have an accident during your trip.
